Construction Design Management (CDM) Awareness
A half-day course providing a clear understanding of their duties and responsibilities under the CDM Regulations 2015.

Course overview
The Construction Design and Management (CDM) training course is designed to provide learners with a clear understanding of their duties and responsibilities under the CDM Regulations 2015. It is suitable for those involved in construction projects, including clients, designers, contractors and site managers.
This course explains how CDM regulations aim to improve health, safety and welfare throughout all stages of a construction project—from initial design and planning through to completion. Learners will develop an understanding of how to effectively plan, manage and coordinate work to reduce risks and ensure compliance.
Throughout the training, emphasis is placed on the roles and responsibilities of duty holders, including the client, principal designer and principal contractor. Learners will also explore the importance of risk management, communication and cooperation between all parties involved in a project.
On successful completion, learners will have the knowledge and confidence to apply CDM principles in practice, helping to create safer construction environments and ensure projects are delivered in line with legal requirements.
