What is an HS&E Test?
The Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) Test assesses a candidate's understanding of essential health, safety and environmental practices within the workplace.
The test helps ensure workers have the knowledge required to operate safely on construction sites and is often a mandatory requirement when applying for or renewing industry-recognised cards.

CITB HS&E Tests
The CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test is required for many individuals applying for or renewing a CSCS card.
We offer CITB HS&E testing for:

Suitable for labourers, skilled tradespeople and general site workers.
Supervisors
Designed for those with supervisory responsibilities on construction sites.
Managers and Professionals
For site managers, project managers, technical staff and construction professionals.
A valid CITB HS&E Test pass is often required before applying for a CSCS card and demonstrates a commitment to safe working practices within the construction industry.
NPORS HS&E Tests
We are also an approved NPORS HS&E Test Centre.
The NPORS Health, Safety & Environment Test is required for candidates applying for NPORS cards carrying the CSCS logo and demonstrates a candidate's understanding of health and safety requirements within the construction sector.
The NPORS HS&E Test consists of 50 multiple-choice questions and must be successfully completed before applying for eligible NPORS cards.
