NPORS Forklift Truck

Tailored to the learner's level of experience, this course will equip workers with their NPORS Forklift Truck Operator Card.

Course overview

The NPORS Forklift Truck training course is designed to provide learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely operate a forklift in a range of workplace environments.

This course covers all aspects of forklift operation, including pre-use inspections,  machine controls and safe handling techniques. Learners will develop an understanding of lifting and transporting loads, maintaining stability, and operating safely in busy working environments such as warehouses, yards and construction sites.

Throughout the training, emphasis is placed on hazard awareness, safe working practices and operator responsibilities. Learners will also gain an understanding of relevant health and safety legislation, as well as how to minimise risks when working around people, racking systems and other equipment.

Upon  successful completion of the course, learners will be awarded the NPORS Forklift Truck Operator Card.

This certification confirms that the holder has demonstrated the required  knowledge and practical competence to safely operate a forklift truck in line with industry standards. The NPORS card is widely recognised across the construction and industrial sectors and serves as proof of operator  competence in the workplace.

Endorsements may be applied depending on the type of forklift training completed, such as Counterbalance, Reach Truck, or other specialist categories.
