A half-day course aimed at raising awareness and understanding of common mental health issues and how to support others.

Course overview

Promoting good mental health inside and outside of the workplace is essential,  particularly as we understand more about how poor mental health can  negatively affect our relationships and resilience to overcome challenges.

Throughout this half-day course, learners will be introduced to mental health issues such as depression and suicide and build an understanding of stress.

Topics  covered include: An introduction to the use of appropriate language when supporting others and the importance of self-care as a tool to potentially improve mental health.
