Course overview

The Lone Worker Awareness course is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and skills needed to work safely and effectively when operating alone.

This course focuses on risk awareness, personal safety, and understanding legal responsibilities, helping both employees and employers meet their obligations under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.

Throughout this short course, learners will develop an understanding of how to identify and manage risks, respond to emergencies, and follow safe working practices when working independently.

On completion, learners will have the confidence and knowledge to work safely alone while contributing to a compliant and secure working environment.
