Course overview
The NPORS Site Safety Awareness course is designed to provide learners with a fundamental understanding of health and safety practices within construction and site-based environments. It is ideal for those new to the industry, as well as individuals who require a refresher on safe working procedures.
Throughout the course, learners will gain awareness of common site hazards and the measures required to control risks effectively. Key topics include safe working practices, personal responsibilities, the importance of risk assessments and method statements, and how to follow site rules and procedures correctly.
The training also covers essential areas such as working at height, manual handling, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and how to identify and report unsafe conditions. Learners will develop an understanding of how their actions can impact not only their own safety, but also the safety of others on site.
On successful completion, learners will have a solid foundation in site safety awareness, helping them to work more confidently, responsibly and in line with industry expectations.

Cancellation within 10 working days of scheduled course date: Full fee payable
Cancellation within 11 to 15 working days of scheduled course date: 50% of course fee payable
Cancellation within 16 to 20 working days of scheduled course date: 25% of course fee payable
Cancellation at least 21 or more working days ahead of scheduled course date: No fee

Yes. Please bring valid photo ID (driving liscence, passport) with you when you attend any course with us.
For practical and face-to-face courses, wear appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear if it is needed. We'll confirm any specific requirements when you book.
Yes. All our courses include certification from the relevant accrediting body.
You'll receive your certificate either printed or digitally soon after successfully completing your course with us.
Please note that the time it takes to receive your certificate can vary from course to course due to the range of accrediting bodies we work with.
If, due to unforeseen circumstances you need to transfer to an alternative course date, please contact us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to book you in for your training on an alrenative date.
Please note that the following transfer fees will apply to any rescheduled course dates:
Reschedule within 5 working days of scheduled course date: Full fee payable
Reschedule within 6 to 15 working days of scheduled course date: 50% of course fee payable
Reschedule within 16 to 20 working days of scheduled course date: 25% of course fee payable
Reschedule at least 21 or more working days ahead of scheduled course date: No fee
