Slips, Trips & Falls in Construction Awareness
A half-day course providing the knowledge and understanding needed to identify hazards and take practical steps to prevent accidents in construction environments.

Course overview
The Slips, Trips & Falls in Construction course is designed to raise awareness of the most common causes of injuries on construction sites. It provides learners with the knowledge and understanding needed to identify hazards and implement effective control measures in high-risk, dynamic environments.
This course focuses on the specific risks associated with construction activities, including uneven ground, trailing cables, poor housekeeping, changing site conditions and work at height. Learners will develop an understanding of how to assess risks, maintain safe access routes and ensure work areas are kept clear and organised.
Throughout the training, emphasis is placed on hazard awareness, personal responsibility and the importance of following site procedures. Learners will also gain an understanding of relevant health and safety legislation and best practice guidance within the construction industry.
On successful completion, learners will be better equipped to recognise potential hazards, take preventative action and contribute to a safer, more controlled construction site.
