Course overview
The Vehicle Banksman Awareness course is designed to provide learners with the knowledge and skills required to safely guide and control the movement of vehicles in the workplace. It is suitable for individuals working in construction, logistics, warehousing and other environments where vehicles and pedestrians operate in close proximity.
This course focuses on the role and responsibilities of a banksman, including how to reduce the risks associated with reversing vehicles and manoeuvring in confined or busy areas. Learners will develop an understanding of safe signalling techniques, maintaining clear communication with drivers, and positioning themselves safely at all times.
Throughout the training, emphasis is placed on hazard awareness, site safety procedures and the importance of planning vehicle movements to prevent accidents. Learners will also gain an understanding of relevant health and safety legislation and best practice guidance.
On successful completion, learners will have the confidence and competence to carry out banksman duties effectively, helping to reduce the risk of collisions, protect pedestrians and maintain a safe working environment.

Cancellation at least 21 or more working days ahead of scheduled course date: No fee

Yes. All our courses include certification from the relevant accrediting body.
You'll receive your certificate either printed or digitally soon after successfully completing your course with us.
Please note that the time it takes to receive your certificate can vary from course to course due to the range of accrediting bodies we work with.
If, due to unforeseen circumstances you need to transfer to an alternative course date, please contact us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to book you in for your training on an alrenative date.
