NPORS Plant & Machinery
Our NPORS-accredited plant training courses equip workers with the knowledge and skills to operate machinery safely, reducing risks to your team and others on site.

Proper plant & machinery training is essential to ensure the safe and effective operation of machinery in the workplace. Equipment such as excavators, dumpers and forklifts can pose significant risks if used incorrectly, making it vital that operators are fully trained, competent and confident in their roles.
Our NPORS-accredited courses provide high-quality plant training, equipping workers with the knowledge and practical skills to operate machinery safely, carry out pre-use checks, identify potential hazards and understand site-specific risks. This not only reduces the likelihood of accidents caused by misuse or inexperience, but also helps protect everyone working on or around site.
From a legal perspective, employers have a duty to ensure that anyone operating plant equipment is properly trained and competent. Investing in recognised, accredited training supports compliance with these responsibilities while reducing the risk of incidents, downtime and costly damage to equipment or property.
Beyond compliance, effective plant training enhances efficiency and productivity on site. Skilled operators work with greater confidence, accuracy and awareness, enabling them to perform tasks safely and respond effectively to the demands of busy construction environments.
Plant training is about more than meeting standards—it’s about safeguarding people, maintaining safe working environments, and ensuring work is carried out professionally and responsibly at all times. Our dedicated team are able to deliver our fully accredited NPORS plant training courses at your own sites, subject to your being able to provide plant and a sufficient training area for the duration of the course.
