Meet the team: Joanne Carpenter
Meet Jo, one of our resident Health & Safety Trainer.
We recently welcomed Jo to the Champion Training Solutions team to support the launch of our brand-new Training Centre in the heart of Exeter’s Marsh Barton Trading Estate, as well as the growing range of courses we now offer.
Jo brings a wealth of real-world experience as a training instructor, along with hands-on experience delivering first aid in some of the most demanding and high-pressure environments. Her background includes serving as a Section Commander and First Aid and TRiM Instructor within the Army, as well as working as an Emergency Care Assistant for the South Western Ambulance Service.
Over the past nine years, Jo has delivered a wide range of training courses as a freelance instructor on behalf of specialist training providers across the UK. Her expertise spans First Aid, Mental Health, Trauma Risk Management, Diversity & Inclusion, Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Manual Handling and Safeguarding, among others.
Highly respected by those she has worked with, Jo is known for her ability to put learners at ease, engage them through real-world scenarios, and deliver training that is both practical and impactful. We are delighted to have her as part of the Champion Training Solutions team, where she continues to make a positive difference to individuals from a wide range of backgrounds.
